[Your Information]
Name: Elizabeth. Liz for short ![]() Contact: MSN (Venomlight@live.com) [Public Application] Character Name: Lina Linnet Character Age: 10 Gender: Female Birthday (including year): February 18th, 231 Current Location: Lismore House [Birth and Marriage if applicable]: House of Linnet Player Base: Ariel Winter Appearance: ![]() Personality: Being the youngest of the siblings has given Lina an excuse for being a carefree, fun-loving, and somewhat reckless child. She won't intentionally harm others, but may do so anyway as part of her less-than-100%-safe games. She is a relentless little thing. Changing her mind about anything may be a task of rather great difficulty, and stopping her from doing what she had set her mind on would be an equally hard mission. The joyful girl is just one side of a coin, however, as Lina can be as serious as the situation might require. While she prefers running free and having a good time, she will have no problem adjusting to a time of higher tension that require standing still, speaking politely, or even acting like a mature woman. Her actions are often go without much thinking, but at heart she is a responsible, loving girl. Especially she loves her sisters, although may not quite show it, or at least not in a common way. Having an incredible family, Lina has grown to be somewhat protective of them. She will quickly lose her temper if any one of her family members is insulted and will never tolerate if a family member is intentionally harmed by the hand of others. Yes, she can be a vengeful child, and will go to extreme lengths to protect the flesh and glory of her family, but that fierce attitude makes the child a born warrior. whether in battle or a simple game, she will do her best to reach victory, but will do so with honor and no cheating. That kind of spunky attitude does get her in trouble, seeing as her family is generally peaceful, but that doesn't change her ways. Determined and faithful. Joyful and creative. This girl can be the friend you always dreamed of having, or the enemy you always wished you never had. A strange personality for a 10 year old, but nobody said this little girl was exactly 'Normal'. History: Lina was a difficult child even before her birth. She was responsible for most of her mother’s stomachaches, headaches, and everything-aches. She never sat still, even within her mother’s round stomach. Always a kick there, a punch there, a little stretching all over… Yes, Lina certainly was not the most peaceful of human beings. Even the time of birth, it just had to be 3 in the morning, when dear mommy wanted to sleep. February 18th, 231 was a difficult day. Apparently Lina was very comfortable inside her mother, thus did not want to get out without a fight, bug in the end, as it usually happens, little Lina was finally born. Immediately, she was looked down upon, both literally and figuratively. Daddy didn’t like that Lina caused her mother so much suffering; therefore he treated her with a little less kindness, at least for the first while. Lina constantly had to struggle through things. Father played a lot of games with her, but he never let her win intentionally, quite the opposite, actually, he always made it a challenge for her. She cried a lot, she whined a lot, and she complained an awful lot. Everybody in the family eventually started feeling sorry for her, and tried helping by spoiling her, but unlike most kids, she rejected everything. She didn’t want a shiny new toy… she wanted a rematch with her father so she can finally beat him. She didn’t want the tastiest food… she wanted the spiciest food to prove she’s just awesome like that. Education was yet another obstacle. She simply refused to be taught, instead, she constantly tried bringing her own points of view, teaching THEM a thing or two. Then there were her two older sisters. Obviously, being the youngest, Lina always had to scramble behind, always was “The Third”, and never did stand on the top of the podium stage. She didn’t like it, and was bent on changing it. Eventually, she started learning harder, playing smarter, and stopped making excuses, stopped pretending she was sick just to skip class, and best of all… she stopped being a whiny brat. At the age of 6, Lina and her mother ventured out for a pleasant stroll. Lina agreed merely because her mother promised a competitive race, but of course, that wasn’t what happened. Instead, they found a young boy of unknown origins. The boy was kind enough and even enjoyable to speak with, until the wrong words were spoken. Once the boy, whose name shall remain hidden, found out who was the little girl and her mother, he spontaneously became furious and started shouting curses at the two for no good reason. Lina’s mother stood idly for less than a minute before turning around and walking away, calling out to Lina to follow, but the little Miss refused to go, and instead, prepared for an all out battle. Before the boy even had time to call for help, Lina was all over him, beating every living cell of his miniature body. Well, that was the last time she and her mother went for a walk. She was scolded harshly by her father and received a punishment, which strangely was no more than a few weeks in isolation inside her bedroom. Ever since that glorious day, Lina has learned one important rule: Give a warning first, then attack. Once she grew a little older, she grew to love her sisters rather than despising them. She ceased arguing with her father and learned to play games that aren’t all competitive. She grew up into a more or less stable child with actual friends and loving family. Her father always tried teaching her that peace always should come before violence, and she agreed with him, but deep down, she knew, that if she could rewind time and return back to that rude boy, she would no doubt beat him up again and again. Peace may come before violence, but family comes before anything else. So that’s that, that’s how a slightly twisted child was brought into existence. Oh Yeah! Writing Sample: Lina's eyes cracked open unnaturally early. She was rudely awoken by an annoying noise coming from outside her chamber. She shook her head before reaching with both hands, extending both index fingers, and aimlessly trying to clean the insides of both ears to make sure it isn't simply a fly stuck in either ear that makes the impossibly disturbing sound. Once she was certain the noise was coming from farther away than the vicinity of her bed, she threw the warm blanket off of herself and jumped off the bed, angrily making her way to the door. Luckily, it was locked as usual. Sadly, it took her a few moments to realize that it was locked, since the sleepiness was still very much lingering in both eyes and the entire mind. Considering her mind was still foggy, the length of find the key to unlock the door was understandably extended. She stumbled through the room in search of the darned key with absolutely no clue what was she doing. He state could easily be mistaken for sleepwalking, although she was, in a certain way, awake. Unable to find the key, Lina began knocking on the door, hoping someone on the other side would hear and let her free. No luck. She then walked to the window, opened it, and looked down. Finding the distance between her room and the ground a little too wide for comfort, she quickly closed the window and returned to her bed. There, she hid under the blanket and covered her head with the pillow, hoping to silence the awful noise. No luck. She was becoming angrier by the second, therefore someone will be paying the price. She jumped off her bed once again, and promptly, slammed her body into the wooden door, this time hoping to break it down by force. Of course, no luck was found in this case either. She was desperate, so she let out one loud shout that rang through her ears even louder than the noise from outside. That was quite enough to bring some sense into her mind. With her brains working, Lina remembered that no key was needed for the door. Unlocking it merely required a twist of the lock. She quickly sprang into action, unlocking the door, opening it, and jumping outside. Silence was everywhere, not a soul around, not a sound, like nothing ever happened. lol. I'd go with Help. Cuz I believe SOS came about after Morse code was invented for the three short, three long, three short that was easy to send out.
<3 After that is fixed, I do approve! Mom is happy to see you! |
