"If it's any consolation, I hardly know anything of Jonathon either," he chuckled. Only, it would be funnier if it wasn't true. Again, it was his fault for putting such a distance there. He pushed that to the back of his mind quickly. He would think about regrettable things later. Right now, he wanted to just focus on her and stay in a good mood. They were once so fleeting, but he found that ever since she decided to invest in his happiness, his moods were improving steadily over time.

He smiled and said, "I knew you were joking, Elysia. No offense was taken." He hadn't meant to make her feel like he was upset. He was kicking himself for that one, but then paused and felt the corner of his mouth lift into a proud smirk. "Jealous? Would you really?" He didn't sound surprised, and he only slightly sounded smug. "Well, then I guess you'll have to be the only person who gets to sit in it from here on out."
