ok for joust:

We will open the thread, and all four pairings can do their rp at the same time, however, assume the jousts occur in the order they are posted above, one two three four. When all four are finished with rp, we will do the next round. Then the final round. Spectators can rp watching, cheering, or blushing over a favorite knight.

Archery:

This will be a top nine (or ten, I'll toss in an NPC). I will roll an order and we'll post it here. What I need to know is who is interested in winning and I can do a random roll for the winner and the places.

Sword:

Sword will be one on one for five minutes each. The King and the five attending province lords will determine the winner of each round. So for rp, you guys can rp your fights. Let Aloris and I know who you want to win or if you want me to do a random roll. have fun with it! We'll have one thread for each competition

Ok, so in reading about jousting, there appears to be period differences in how it was done, so I'm going to use the one I like and this is how it'll work to make rp easier:

Each match consists of no more than five passes:

1. If one combatant is unhorsed in any round he loses
2. If the lance breaks on the opponents chest, lance-breaker scores 1 points
3. If the lance breaks on the helmet, lance-breaker scores 2 points
4. At the end of five rounds, whoever has the most points, kept as flags designating the jouster's house, that knight wins.
5. If the score is tied, jousters dismount and battle with tourney swords on foot until one person yields to the other
6. If both are unhorsed in the same round, jousters battle with tourney swords on foot until one person yields to the other
