I do not mean to bother your business as I am sure as Lord-Commander of Sanka's forces, you are quite busy as it is. But I do request at your first available moment, that you write to tell me of Simone. I am certain she has been a radiant ball of sunshine that we all know her to be, especially in her husband's absence. For that reason, I do so worry for her welfare. I should hate for her to worry herself sick over him.
In all serious, though, cousin, I would like assurance that she is well. I fear she has not been quite the same since that incident with Alexandre's wife and that insane woman.
