View Full Version : I Write Like Analysis!

Oh, Tumblr teaches me such new and amazing things!
This is also the reason that I am online at three in the morning. Through Tumblr I found this site that apparently analyses your writing and tells you which author your writing matches. Which is exciting! (Though probably not super accurate).
Analyse your writing here! (http://iwl.me/)
At first I analysed a first person post that I had on another site and I got Anne Rice.
Then I tried a third person post, Fabian, and got J. K. Rowling. (Which pleases only me, I'm sure.) I analysed a few of Fabian's posts and got J. K. Rowling numerous times.
Apparently Aisling posts are Margaret Mitchell.
I don't know, really. But it is rather fun.

...I did a solo post I wrote awhile back and it said it was James Joyce.
I don't know how to feel about that.

Bea posts are James Joyce. (fine with me!)
Lynesse posts are Dan Brown. (WTF?)
Nathanael posts are Stephenie Meyer. (Nooooooo!)
Ivana posts are Cory Doctorow.
Nuala posts are Anne Rice. (WTF?)
I'm not sure what this tells us, other than I am more than likely certifiable.

It's always different, but consistent, for each character. That's kind of weird. Where the "i write like...ME!" result? :P
