Jynessa Harrowmont

It was near silent now, compared to the bustle she'd gotten used to. Entire areas of the castle were now returned to gathering dust and awaiting the next time a court would descent. There was still the massing of the army, her father's sworn lords coming to them down from the mountains and out of the hills, but she missed her cousins and the others. She also missed her dresses. Her stomach was getting to the point she had to wear the higher waists and it seemed like Skye wasn't nearly so big or having nearly the problem with her dresses.
Jenna sighed and returned her attention to the embroidery in her hands. A blanket for the child, done in blue and a pinkish-red, the Harrowmont colors. She was trying to concentrate on being ready for the birthing instead of thinking about Alexandre and her father both leaving so soon.
There was nothing she could do- she knew that well enough, but if she hadn't been with child she could have gone to Vadra, only the maester said she'd done enough traveling. No more riding, no more... anything, really. Sit and wait. Maester Aermon kept restricting things. No strongwine, no riding, no vigorous dancing... hopefully Aelina wouldn't get so many rules in a few months. Jenna had uncharacteristically gotten into an argument with Aermon that morning about the dancing part- she was sure it wouldn't make a bit of difference, but she wasn't quite bold enough to act on it. Aermon had been her tutor often enough as a child, and she hated disappointing him, nearly as much as disappointing her father.
