My lands have been invaded. Lord Castell has taken the hospitality granted to him by my bannermen and repaid us in blood. I received word from my lord in Tiga that some of his soldiers were found slain, the evidence indisputably implicated Lord Castell's general, Donovan Castell.
I believe this to be in retaliation for my hesitance to swear fealty to him. His last missive to me was rather adamant in his demands for my oath. Regardless of his motivations, by murdering my men, he has declared war against my province, and it is a declaration that I will answer.
Lord Ashpool, alone I cannot defeat Victor Castell. Though I have every confidence in the abilities of my generals, in my soldiers, I am vastly outnumbered. But with your aid, we would meet him on the field of battle with a force equal to his own. I am humbly asking for your help. I need your help. I know that together, we can bring an end to the tyrant's self-proclaimed reign as king of Forsilvra, and we will both be serving to defend our people and our lands.
