Hey all!
We've had a couple chats in cbox about a secret forum idea. Basically, Aloris and I will make some forums that are normally hidden from everyone. They will be used for pairs/trios/groups to compete any needed rp without giving away secrets if the characters/players aren't ready for their secrets to become general OOC (or IC) knowledge.
When you are ready, threads can be moved to general rp for reading by others.
Here are the options:
1. Aloris and I can manage them. There will be a request thread and you will ask for a forum. We will grant you permission to the forum to write your thread. When done, we'll take away your persmission, move your thread to a private admin only space, and someone else will have forum:
- benefit? hands off for you guys
- cons? more work for us, you can't read your threads once you're done.
2. Each person will have their own forum and their own ability to control access to that forum. Each person will have their own subforum to store their posts.
- benefit? Less work for us, you can keep copies of your posts (and we can make a copy to put in the other players private forums), you don't have to wait for us to have time to make the moves
- cons? You can only let one person/group into your forum at a time; you all will need to gain the skills needed to add and subtract people from your forum.
