The balance of chaos and order in Syliara has not shifted in millenia and the people have forgotten the time when the dragons and gods played a more active role in the affairs of elves and men. This forgetfulness has not been lost on the gods who seek to be released from their eternal prison high above the lands of Syliara. Ahalis' powers though great are waning and some of the lesser gods have managed to escape, descending to Syliara in the hopes of gathering followers for their masters. With more followers the gods will be able to break Ahalis' wavering grasp on them and return to the world. Some gods seek to continue their original plan of destroying Syliara, while others seek to judge their wayward children for what they've become.
In the midst of this, war is brewing between Escinthaea and Amianica. The humans have begun to let their greed take hold of them again, seeking to take both the lands of the Elves and to enter the ancient draconian stronghold of Aldhaven. Whether this stirring is the hand of the elder gods or simply that of man, it is clear to see that regardless of what happens this is war and no one will be spared.
Do you stand with the gods and their insane ambitions or perhaps you stand with the dragons and those who seek to keep the gods where they belong? Will you work against or for the gods? Or perhaps even work toward your own ends...?
