I wanted to see you in person and say this, but commitments in Stoft have prevented it. Instead, you must make do with a letter, which I hope you will understand lacks the tone that usually infects my words. Hopefully, this will work in my favour, with what I seek to say.
Don't think that how you looked out for me in Gyllene has gone unnoticed, sister. I appreciate that even when I was at my lowest and despite how I may have treated you in the past, you still have it in your heart to care for your family. You truly do the Letalis proud, Rosalie. I ask that you continue to show that devotion and care for Lord Mallory.
There is more, Rosalie, but that cannot be written. What I want to say would look hollow in writing, so must be spoken. I visit Lord Mallory as soon as the wars in Stoft are done, but I will say what I must to you then, should that please you?
