This letter is written with haste - the words are slanted, and seemingly rushed. However, the ink has been pressed into the parchment with evident fervor.

Victor Castell,

The audacity with which you have penned me your most recent letter will never leave my memory. Neither will the treachery you and yours have committed against my family. For a man such as yourself to suggest, nay, imply that your guidance would far benefit Forsilvra rather than that of the Sterlyns is laughably appalling. And for you to send such a statement urging my own participation in your madness is borderline psychotic considering your direct and forced involvement in the untimely death of my brother Malic Severne, who, although deceased due to your malcontent, lives on in glorified memory throughout my province and guides my steps in his stead.

Although my family has born yours no offence in the great annals of our linked history, it has become clear to me that our friendship was construed to be a form of manipulation on your part. With Malic gone, perhaps you felt that your superior ego would hold sway. You have been gravely mistaken in making this decision, and if nothing else, this letter should assure you that the moment you decided to cross my family, you sealed your fate with fire.

Bend your knee in fear, Victor Castell, for no force of the Gods or act of men could keep me from enacting your downfall.

My vengeance will be swift and my retribution, imminent and catastrophic.

Theodoric Severne
