His family was taking up residence in the former royal palace. There was more than a bit of irony in that, since so many of the blue bloods viewed them as little more than upjumped horse breeders, yet here they were all the same. Rhaegar leaned against one of the columns as he looked around the great hall. Both the doors were within his sight from here, and his back was to the wall. It was a positioning done more from habit than conscious thought at this point: you didn't lead the Second Sons for long without taking a few precautions to heart.
He was watching the various nobles and their interactions. He'd been gone from Forsilvra for years, and he'd never been part of the court. It was a lot to catch up on, but he'd spent his life in a world where you learned quick or you died. It was a good teacher.
